The Misadventures of an Awkward Black Girl webisodes by Issa Ray are freaking hilarious. It is very reminiscent of times when I myself felt the bottled up anger and awkward moments at a previous job. I was the only person of color there and the office piped smooth jazz and elevator Muzak and opera all day long. I ate lunch in the parking lot of a nearby mall in my car for the duration of my employment with the exception of the one day they threw a pizza party. Even then, I ate at my desk and continued to work. The owner sat two desks away from me. He was a republican with a pony tail. Oh, the dichotomy! I mean, who invites the entire staff of nine to their house for a barbecue with their family only to inform them that they are closing the office and relocating to the town where their family lives to give them your jobs. Yeah, good times...
Anywhoo...
More funny than I can describe packed into these episodes. Hopefully she'll end up with a show on a cable channel that I can afford and be more popular than that girl Rihanna and the awkwardness I feel when she's channeling her alternate personality Pussy N Moore from the late night Skinimax line up.
